I am smitten, enthralled, enchanted, enamored, infatuated, IN LOVE -love is putting it a lil strongly but you get my drift!!! ~with my sexy mongol boy <3333

We rarely talk anymore, due to him being so busy with his hairstyling, but when we do get to chat its sooo very sweet! and he always turns the webcam on for me.

So I got a new DVD burner, so graciously financed by my grandma. So me and my mom were watching "The Good, the Bad, and the Weird" and the moment Lee Byung Hun came on screen, expectedly, my mom immediately said, "Hey! he looks like your Mongol!" xD hahah which was funny because we had already established that he looked like my Mongol back when were watching GI Joe this summer, but she had forgotten. I was quizzing my mom on so many movies we had seen the actors in previously and she was trying hard to remember. Surprisingly, my mom actually watched the movie the whole way through without many complaints. Anytime LBH came on screen I would immediately say, "He looks like my Mongol, don't you think? OMG that expression there! Mongol boy totally makes that expression all the time!!! OMG doesn't he look like him? Like 15 years from now... do you see it?" to which my mom would typically reply with a tilt of the head, "Yeah, kinda, but your Mongol is so much better looking!"

maybe me and my mom are the only ones who see it.
XD ahahaha I totally have to agree with her! Sorry LBH, but I have never been your fan and I am happy that psycho Ex-skank is suing you and dragging your name through the mud in the process, you always have seemed like a real turd to me!
Neways, I know its taboo to fangirl over a commoner, but I am forced to admit that I am a fangirl for just a regular boy. He may as well be some boyband boy(that i just happen to chat with), cuz if i could, I'd put his poster on my wall. But shhhh don't tell him!

As for my sexy Mongol. Turns out he left Inner Mongolia and never told me! In fact, he never told me he was Inner Mongolia to begin with. Just one day I was asking him for his address, as I have many a time, yet to this day have never retrieved successfully. And he gave me a partial address for somewhere in Shandong Province. First of all, when I say "partial address" I mean he gave me Country, Province, City and that's all! That's like me telling you, "Mail me at Waterford, Michigan, USA. I'll be waiting patiently! But not holding my breath of course!" I thought maybe he was playing a joke cuz he was just soooo ashamed of his home province being Inner Mongolia. When I checked his weather icon, (which displays for almost anyone who connects from a web cafe in China, and is usually truthful in location) sure enough it said he was in Shandong Province! I can't believe he was telling the truth :O (for once!) Turns out he's a hairstylist now! Talk about finding your calling! He works at a dang snazzy salon! I think he may even work at 2. He is always so busy and when I do see him these days, he looks so incredibly tired! But I am so happy for him! He is being a productive citizen of the people's republic which is more than I can say for myself. I knew he was making money some way. Before he moved to Shandong he wore the same tank top ALL SUMMER LONG! Now he actually changes his outfit from time to time. So I was really concerned, how is this boy making money? Vending knocks offs? Dealing Drugs? Hustling? Racketeering? MALE PROSTITUTION? I just knew it had to be something illegal! But apparently it's not! xD For a while there I was sure he was gonna end up in a Chinese prison. He even offered to do my hair if I come to China. Which tempts me to beg the question... Which hair? >_<;; it is China after all! hehe
My mind is at ease, for now! :D ahhh
And just so I don't feel like I am neglecting my boy's lovely face completely!

WTF? So tired you brought your pillow to the web cafe with you? It wouldn't be the first time he's crashed there.

I swore I was done! I really did!!! He has another girlfriend... which is not the problem. He probably has a million "girlfriends". Oh that concert i went to last week WAS A TOTAL DUD!
No one told me it was the same night as COCOROSIE. I knew cocorosie was playing sometime but didn't know it was the same night SOOOO I went to the wrong venue! BTW since when is frizzy long hair the new trend? 2 girls standing in front of me were making my arms ITCHY! Gosh I was rocking that look way before it was cool! And i totally wasn't clued because there were totally apparent MGMT fans there... (adorable boy with a head band) and Amazing Baby and MGMT are like BFFFFFFS! so it was obvious, to me, they'd settle for a band you could pretend was MGMT if you tilted your head and squinted your eyes! (i know that's what i tried!)
I hate cocorosie so much. I actually saw them 5 years ago and it was total and complete torture but after seeing amazing baby's half-assed performance I think I should have just taken my chances! Props to someone for talking to the choreographer (wtf do they need one for?) and giving me a heads up that a band called -something rosie- were playing. I had to actually be escorted to the proper venue. Even though the band was in a separate venue and the show was scheduled at 8 o clock they didn't actually take the stage til 11:00!!! There were only 10 other people in the whole place besides me... And the band said it was their friends and family who showed up! LMAO I thought this band had a "buzz". They didn't even wear a dang poncho! And effing lasers! OMG who do they think they are pink floyd? I prefer to keep my retinas burn free when i go to see a concert THANK YOU VERY MUCH! They only played like 8 or 9 song which normally i would complain about but by that time I couldn't take anymore! I'll post up a vid laterz!!1

Also Jaebum, I was partaking in the fan concocted conspiracy theories, with some reservations. But by this point, and after reading Jaebum's supposed "fake" post on his fan cafe, I believe JYP. This is Jaebum's decision. He will be back one day and he will be welcomed with open arms, and we need to support him then! I have just accepted it and willing to move on and hope dearly that Jaebum returns sooner than later... At least in time for the North American tour! PLEASEEEE JAY CAN YOU JUST DO THAT????
But really look at that message. Obviously a non native speaker wrote that. I can tell the difference between a non native speaker's Korean and a native's. Natives I CAN NEVER FRIGGIN UNDERSTAND ALL THOSE DANG PARTICLES AND NUANCED ENDINGS THEY ADD. But Jaebum's message was too straight forward and clear(i mean i could actually understand it) and full of ellipsis and from one ellipse freak to another. I am convinced it's the real deal....

I basically told him i was busy, that's why I was ignoring him for weeks. But the other week we had this "moment". It was pretty magical. Tonight I am going to see Amazing Baby at the Crofoot. I haven't been into this band for very long so I am not familiar with much of their music but a while ago I became to addicted to their first major single "Head Dress"

I think it'll take my mind off of the whole Jaebum saga. I can't believe I took that so hard! This is like the worst thing to happen to me since back in 2005 when my desktop broke down and my laptop charger went dead at the same time and I couldn't watch Bi videos for half a day! Really it was an ORDEAL!
Even my mom says she cried about the Jaebum thing, LMAO. But we really were always so fond of him and our love for him had been growing major over the last few weeks. and I feel like we relate to him on some other level because he's American. I want him to come back! I really hope JYP has something up his sleeve. That man knows how to turn turds into fertilizer if you know what i mean!

I wondered why I couldn't access allkpop for HOURS last night... I didn't find out til this morning!
I really thought he was stronger than that. This was the stupidest controversy I ever heard and he let that bring him down? I think the boy is really homesick and probably wanted to be home for a long time. But he worked so hard for this. I wished he hadn't made such a hasty decision. This too shall pass!
I dreamed of seeing 2pm next year. Now I have less motivation!
I hope one day he comes back and JYP lets him with open arms.

THIRST

I was chatting with my friend from Korea this morning telling him that I wanted to see a movie and asking if he had suggestions. As i was browsing through local showtimes I couldn't find a dang thing I wanted to see. Seems that I have already seen the currently showing movies I could ever find even mildly amusing. Then i came to the Main Art theatre listings in Royal Oak and to my shock and surprise i saw a listing for THIRST!!!! I could not believe my eyes! The Park Chan Wook/Korean film that I have been dying to see for the longest time now! In fact, just this last week I was complaining to another Korean friend, who called the film a "masterpiece", that I could not see this movie locally. Korean movies never make it to my city and rarely are shown outside of the largest cities such as, New York and LA.
My initial reaction to seeing Thirst listed at a local theatre was a loudly vocalized SQUEEEEE. I have never seen a Korean movie on the big screen let alone a PARK CHAN WOOK film I have been dying to see.

While I was sitting in the theatre waiting for the movie to start I was shaking with anticipation. I couldn't believe. If only I had had the opportunity to see Sympathy for Lady Vengeance or Oldboy in a theatre or even I'm a Cyborg but That's OK I feel it could have been life altering.
After watching the movie I can say I was disapointed. I don't think I had over-hyped the actual film that much for myself. I just think it moved slow and was pretty much BORING. I read alot of reviews complaining or raving about the graphicness of the sex scenes. Perhaps I watch too much porn, but I didn't think they were all that graphic, just longer than typical, which i guess makes people uncomfortable. The thing that disturbed me the most was the apparent foot fetish of the lead character. Foot fetishes and men with them make me want to HURL and this one of the worst displays of that horrid affliction ICK ICK ICK. But the point I am trying to make by this whole rambling entry is that I SAW SONG KANG HO'S PENIS!!!!! I guess some blogs had mentioned it, but luckily for me I missed those entries because the fact that i was completely caught off guard by it made it a wonderous moment. It was truly the highlight of the movie for me and probably the highlight of my next few days. I was actually giddy for a good half hour just thinking OMG I JUST SAW HIS PENIS AND OMG HE DOES NOTHING (and I mean absolutely NOTHING) TO BREAK THAT ASIAN MALE STEREOTYPE OMG OMG OMG I JUST SAW ASIAN | KOREAN PENIS AND OMG MONGOL BOY IS SO MUCH BIGGER OMG ASIAN PENIS WHAT?!!!!! yeah I am still giddy about it...

root canal #3

I'd been having problems with my tooth off and on for a couple months now. But It wasn't bothering me much and I didn't have insurance so I guess i didn't feel it was urgent. Then on Easter my aunt bought me some big red gum, since I don't eat candy and I love cinnamon it seemed the perfect Easter basket treat. I chewed A LOT of gum... and I rarely even chew gum, but while I was chewing I noticed the flavor of the gum started to taste like a cavity... like decaying rotting tooth. I didn't think much of it. The next day I woke up with a fair amount of tooth pain. Since then, my tooth has been bugging me off and on at what seems complete random. One moment my tooth feels as normal as ever, next moment there's a little irritation there and next is excruciating pain and this cycle repeats at odd intervals. Then when I went to make my appointment the dentist's office said I wasn't covered. Which was annoying seeing as that we had done phone battling with the insurance company for what seems MONTHS by now and thought we had that issue all resolved. So after a couple hours more on the phone with the insurance company they assured me I was covered for my visit. Then when I arrived at the dentist's office for my appointment they told me that I was still not covered... more arguing with the insurance company. Turns out they're bigger incompetent idiots than I could have ever imagined... So finally today I got to see an actual dentist. I needed to, I was starting to feel so physically ill. I am kinda glad I let my cavities get so bad because they couldn't do anything but a root canal (i love root canals) that means I don't have to deal with that tooth ever again (most likely) unlike those shitty fillings that crack and bust and fall out and only cause more headaches! The dentist was new. He was really nice and considerate. It seemed like his main concern was my comfort. He kept asking if I felt ok... He was a redhead and lucky for him he didn't have brown eyes (My best friend and I decided we just hate red heads with brown eyes--- ugh so creepy looking) and I like him, as of now. Of course the other dentist used to always compliment what beautiful teeth I have ^^ (and then proceed to say what a shame it is that I don't take better care of them, asshole >_<;;;). I thought about getting a gold crown but after checking the location in my mouth opted out, way too close to the front. My Chinese friend told me he thought my gold tooth was beautiful and that I should get more <3 if Chinese boys can love my gold tooth... then hopefully one day I will have more.
Now that my feeling is back and I no longer look like a stroke victim when i try to use a straw or pucker up I feel worlds better! What a relief. I hope I remain pain free for my trip.
When I got home i had a package waiting at the door from my best friend. She got me the most perfect gift and the most perfect timing!.

Happy Black Day

YAY I actually remembered it this year! It was because someone reminded me~! I think Black Day has got to be my favorite of all those Korean -14th of the month- special days they have going... why? because I love the color black and I love being single (most of the time) and the fact that single people get a special day to celebrate their singlehood themed around my favorite color as well as having food involved is something I envy! Although my friend in Korea tells me it's actually a "sad day" for singles, himself included... I am not buying it... at least I wouldn't be sad xD so to celebrate I really wanted to eat some Jjajangmyun! But the problem is I don't think a single Korean restaurant in my entire state actually serves Jajjangmyun (I should know, I called around... sometimes i even got laughed at!). I did, however, find some Chinese restaurants that served the Chinese version of the dish, zhajiangmian, but even those places were far away and just didn't seem as authentic to me. So I headed over to my local Korean grocer and picked up the ingredients to make myself my own Jajjangmyun! I found a few recipes from the internet, including a vegan version (score!) and I took my favorites ingredients from each recipe and fashioned my own variety of Korean black noodles xD.... and what would you know! I actually LOVED IT!!

looks pretty decent right?
of course I have nothing to reference the flavor of what authentic Korean jajjangmyun tastes like but I figure I used the most popular brand of black bean paste in Korea I could not have been far off. Mine is healthy too... so many veggies, not all that pork fat of the standard kind and even the noodles I used were shirataki noodles so it was even low carb!

man oh man just another reason to love black day... I think I found myself a new April 14th tradition. ^^

Early this morning to my shock and surprise MTV was playing MUSIC VIDEOS... And not just the usual garbage they play for like an hour or 2 a day... They were playing GOOD VIDEOS, OLD VIDEOS, SOME OF MY FAVORITE ALL TIME VIDEOS!!! Just in the matter of a couple hours I saw the White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Björk (omg seriously??!!!???!!), Notorious B.I.G., R.E.M., Death Cab for Cutie, Wham! (wtf?), and Nirvana!!!!
The only thing I could think was... "OMG if this is to stay, I just may love MTV AGAIN for the first time in about a decade!"

According to an article I just came across this wasn't just a coincidence... MTV is trying something NEW ... by actually trying to remind people what the M in MTV actually stands for?

MTV to Put a Bit More Music Back, in the A.M.

MTV is adding more music videos to its schedule — at 3 a.m.

On Monday the network starts “AMTV,” a six-hour block for music and advertising experimentation. From 3 to 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday, it will show music videos, news, interviews and performances, harking back to the network’s origins as a 24-hour home for music videos.

Now, of course, the network is more synonymous with unrealistic reality shows like “The Hills” than with music. Over the years the network, a unit of Viacom, has relegated music videos to its less popular digital channels and intermissions between shows.

But the network says that by carving out a new space for artists in the mornings, it is rethinking how it programs music. Stephen Friedman, the general manager of MTV, said the new schedule “creates more sampling opportunities” for viewers.

“It gives us a much wider palette to experiment,” he said.

The network is bringing back “Unplugged,” its series of acoustic performances by artists. Mr. Friedman said the mornings would always be “complemented by a prime-time connection,” when the network sees its highest ratings.

“If we take ‘Unplugged,’ which our audience still knows and loves, and do a four-minute version after our highest-rated program in prime time, and then we say, ‘You can get it all immediately on MTV.com or see the full thing for the next four days in the morning,’ we’re going to have a lot more people watching,” he said.

Critics of MTV say that its music brand is all but irrelevant now, since countless music videos and songs are only a click away on YouTube and other Web sites. The network canceled “TRL,” its long-running video countdown, last fall after years of sagging ratings. Mr. Friedman acknowledged that music had not always drawn “the level of viewership we hope for,” but nonetheless he said, “we know our audience wants more of it.”

The “AMTV” hours will not be measured by Nielsen’s ratings service. MTV is calling the morning block a laboratory for advertising partnerships; sometimes a company could sponsor all six hours, and other times it could insert its brand into individual segments.

“We’re trying to move as the audience moves with their consumption habits,” Mr. Friedman said. BRIAN STELTER

I dunno, of course there is Youtube where people can watch their favorite videos whenver they choose to but there is just something magical about seeing a video you love played on a major network. Its like other people can share in it. Just because you can buy or have bought an album doesn't mean you don't call in radio to request or turn the song up when it comes on the radio!
xD I hope this change is here to stay... I want my MTV as in... I want my MUSIC television back... *sniff* Maybe now MTV will even have time to sneak a se7en or BoA video on the air ^^
